New interim chair appointed at ACF as Janet Morrison takes on new role at the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee

7 February 2022

Janet Morrison has been appointed to a new role as chief executive at the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee, which means she no longer has capacity to act as ACF’s chair in addition to this new role. Jessica Brown, ACF’s vice-chair, is stepping up to act as ACF chair from 1 March on an interim basis until permanent recruitment of a new chair starts in autumn 2022.

Janet Morrison said: “I am of course very sad to leave my role as chair of ACF. I’ve really enjoyed chairing the board and have felt real satisfaction with the progress ACF and its members have made in recent times, from responding to the call to arms to be Stronger Foundations and to being a force for good in a changing Covid world. I’ve greatly enjoyed engaging with our diverse membership. I know that I will be leaving the board is safe hands with Jessica”.

Jessica Brown said: “We’re sorry to see Janet leave and wish her all the best in her new role. I’m looking forward to acting as chair for the next few months, not least working with Carol and the staff team as trustees carry out the review this year to set ACF’s strategy for the next five years. The strategic review kicks off with the start of a month-long conversation with members in February.”
