Investment seminars: an introduction for foundations

FREE for ACF members, this unique programme empowers trustees and staff to realise the full potential of their foundation’s assets to achieve their charitable and financial objectives.

In collaboration with our Official Partners, Ruffer, Cazenove, Mercer and CCLA, the interactive two-day course covers the role of mission, the legal context, deciding what to spend, and the technicalities of investment from risk and return to asset allocation and understanding costs.

Based on the best practice laid out in ACF’s Stronger Foundations investment pillar the seminars are suitable for those new to or those are well-versed in investment but are new to foundations. 

Case studies and speakers from a range of foundations who are seeking to deliver best practice will be shared and opportunities to meet and develop non-judgemental relationships with peers.

Participants should commit to both full days to really benefit from the seminars.
