Learning from what went wrong in evidence and impact

In a sector that often rewards clear outcomes and confident narratives, it can be hard to talk about what didn’t go to plan. Yet some of the most valuable evidence comes from the things that didn’t land, had to change, or challenged our assumptions.

Tuesday 14 July  | 12:00 – 12:45 | Online (Zoom)

This peer-led session aims to create the space for funders to reflect honestly on the messier side of evidence and impact work - from unused data and ineffective reporting processes to strategies that didn’t deliver as expected. Through peer discussion, we’ll explore the idea of “failure” - and how to build cultures, systems and reporting approaches that support learning, impact and better decision-making.

Although we won't be having any formal presentations, if you have a specific example you would like to speak about, please feel free to contact Ines to ensure that you will have chance to share it as part of the discussion.

What to expect
