From election to engagement: navigating political change

Shortly after the UK general election, we will be hosting a debrief event with the political advisory firm Flint Global. We will discuss how foundations can effectively engage with politicians and civil servants at this critical stage in the political cycle.

The event will focus on:

- Positioning your foundation effectively with a potential change of government
- Strengthening your foundation’s Whitehall relationships during a political transition
- Engaging effectively with opposition parties after a political transition

We will hear from three experts from Flint Global:

Sam White,
Specialist Partner at Flint Global and former Chief of Staff to Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer and special adviser to Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling in the last Labour Government.

Dame Sue Owen,
Specialist Partner at Flint Global and former Permanent Secretary at the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

James Hedgeland,
Director at Flint Global and former Special Adviser to Sajid Javid in the Department of Health and Social Care, HM Treasury, Home Office and Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government.
