Funder Commitment on Climate Change Knowledge Exchange

We will be discussing climate action and intersectionality – how climate change will affect a range of people who are already facing barriers.

Speakers:

Dan White, Policy and Campaigns Officer at Disability Rights UK who will speak about Disability Rights UK’s involvement in NPC’s Everyone’s Environment work, and the range of ways that the climate and nature crises will impact Disabled people

Katie Styles, Senior Partnership Officer at People’s Health Trust and Joel Llewellyn, Evaluation and Policy Manager at People’s Health Trust who will speak about PHT’s support for the Everyone’s Environment strand on people experiencing health inequalities. 

Jason Ball, Head of Grant-making at GiveOut will talk about how climate change doesn’t always recognise the social vulnerabilities of certain communities, and how funders can support the voices of LGBTQ+ people to be heard in climate discussions and policy-making.
