Job Description
About the Role This is a pivotal role in ensuring the Trust operates effectively and continues to deliver meaningful impact, working within the Trust’s small but fast-paced team, forming relationships with and working closely with several departments across Aberdeen Group and using multiple systems to deliver core tasks. The Trust Coordinator will work across finance, operations, communications and funding, taking ownership of processes, proactively identifying opportunities to improve how we work and ensuring activity is delivered to a high standard. The Trust Coordinator will be a hands-on, solutions-focused individual who is comfortable stepping into all aspects of the Trust’s work—driving progress, strengthening ways of working, and enabling the team to build strong partnerships that deliver measurable impact for the communities we support. Finance • Keep track of the Trust’s spending and income against budget • Make payments to partners and suppliers • Keep good records to meet audit requirements • Support the Trusts annual account audit and reporting window Communications • Help with social media pages • Manage the IT administration of our website • Support with newsletters and campaigns to share what we do • Own and update the communications tracker, including tracking days of significance for the Trusts aligned strategy which provide comms opportunities for example Global Money Week, World Environment Day etc. Funding • Conduct the administration linked to the funding process, including initial screening of applications and draft responses. • Track deadlines and manage expectations to ensure these are met • Input impact data from our funding partners to support reporting Input annual submission to the B4SI platform to report on our social impact • Maintain an up-to-date register of contracts, tracking key dates such as renewals and terminations Operations • Manage the mailbox and respond to general enquiries • Keep governance processes up to date • Keep policies and procedures up to date • Support with board meetings, write up minutes, and file important documents • Project manage key activities and programmes of work • Assist logistics for senior staff team
