Job Description
We’re looking for a voluntary sector leader to join our Board of trustees.
From October, we’ll have a vacancy for a voluntary sector member trustee and we’re inviting nominations from or of eligible candidates.
We’re particularly keen to hear from leaders working in frontline charities or community organisations tackling poverty in the North East. We’d also welcome candidates with strong voluntary-sector networks and connections in Gateshead, Sunderland or South Tyneside.
You don’t need previous charity trustee experience, and organisations that have applied for or received funding from us are welcome to nominate. Joining our Board will not affect any current or future funding decisions.
Your organisation must be a Voluntary Member of Community Foundation, or be willing to obtain our free membership.
