Summary
Most of The Henry Smith Charity’s funding is distributed through our Improving Lives and Strengthening Communities grant programmes. We also proactively identify Strategic Grants, supported by the evidence and learning from our responsive programmes. Our Strategic Grants are not restricted to proven work or direct service delivery and may involve using strategic levers such as significantly expanding an organisation or service that is particularly promising, supporting new services or approaches, building an evidence base, shaping sector practice, or scaling a particular model. We are also keen to identify opportunities for partnerships to increase our impact. We are delighted to be recruiting a Strategic Funding Lead. This is a really exciting role that will oversee an increase in our strategic grant making.
