Children and young people network meeting

Join us to discuss Equity: a path to systemic change for children and young people?

This session will focus on equity – and how if we challenge oppression in our work – if we actively break down barriers, challenge narratives and ideas that are harmful, and understand where children and young people do not have access to resources, rights and entitlements – we may be able to realize changes that benefit all of us. As people in charge of resources, we also need to think carefully about where we have opportunities to build equity into our work, and to make sure funding is accessible, inclusive and anti-oppressive.

During the session we’ll hear from experts working on research and evidence, those working directly with children and young people, funders and young people themselves. There will be a chance to share practice and ask questions in small groups as well as a call to action.
Joe and Ruth are looking forward to the next in our series of conversations focused on strengthening connections across the network, on building our collective understanding and on practical actions to develop the quality and impact of our work to build better futures for children and young people.
