Join us to hear about different examples of independent funders and local authorities working together on place-based programmes.
Thursday 5 March | 14:00 - 16:00 | Online (Zoom)
Building on from the last network meeting, which focussed on policy announcements and the Government's increased focus on neighbourhoods and place, the next place-based network will highlight some local authority perspective and interesting examples of place-based work, and what this means for funders.
Join us to hear from external speakers from both English and Scottish local authorities, including Regenerative Futures Fund and Edinburgh City Council about their exciting collaboration and pushing boundaries of place-based work.
What to expect
- A short provocation from invited speakers
- Small group breakout sessions to share reflections
- A space for open dialogue and learning
- Opportunity to hear about how other funders are thinking about place-based funding and learning
Event duration: 2 hours with space for reflection from network members
Format: Online, participatory discussion
Designed for: Staff and trustees at all levels
Convened by Jon Fox and Megan Falck (Local Trust). Find out more about the Place based network here.
