New Prime Minister, same challenges?
Save the date to hear from experts about the new Prime Minister’s policy priorities and discuss with peers the implications for foundations.
The past few months have been characterised by political upheaval, numerous changes in senior roles including Prime Minister, combined with significant government U-turns.
This event will examine the two-year horizon until the next General Election and address key areas: What does a Rishi Sunak premiership signify for the government’s policy agenda? Will the autumn statement bring economic stability and place public finances on a sustainable footing, as promised? How could this changing external environmental impact the work of foundations?
This session will explore:
• The key political movers and shakers
• The Prime Minister’s daunting in-tray and policy announcements to date, including the autumn statement
• What these political and policy changes might mean for the foundation sector and the charities they support and work with.
