Being a member of ACF offers connection, collaboration and learning from peers and experts. Our vibrant community of trustees and professionals in charitable foundations and grant-making organisations across the UK gain access to extensive benefits that include:

Approximately 430 organisations are proud to be part of the ACF community. Our membership is inclusive and welcomes family trusts, corporate foundations, livery companies, broadcasting appeals and other grant-makers. Our members range in size from small and local grant-makers to some of the world’s largest charitable foundations.

ACF membership supports organisations and individuals that want to enhance their knowledge of best practice in grant-making, access a platform for sharing experience and expertise, and be kept informed of policy and regulatory issues affecting foundations. We do this to help charitable foundations be ambitious and effective in the way that they use their resources for social good.

Membership is per organisation, so all staff and trustees can enjoy these benefits.
